I make beads from Silver Precious Metal Clay, Porcelain and Egyptian Paste, and together with ethnic beads and semi precious stones are made into necklaces.  The semi-precious stones and beads are sourced from many places and the silver endings and clasps to the necklaces are made in India to my prototype.

Precious Metal Clay was developed in Japan and consists of very small particles of silver mixed with an organic binder. It handles and can be modelled in a similar way to clay but during the firing the binder burns away leaving pure silver.
